About the Area Manager Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that oversees retail teams, supports Regional Managers, and drives sales, safety, and community engagement in Geelong and surrounding areas.


Main Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Regional Manager to set agendas, including workforce and succession planning.
  2. Store Performance: Monitor and manage store performance, including eCommerce and customer strategies.
  3. Operational Excellence: Manage sales, expenditure, stock, KPIs, and budgets, adopting cost-effective measures.
  4. New Store Openings: Oversee new store openings, renewals, and closures aligned with strategic plans.
  5. Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  6. Volunteer and Employee Recruitment: Lead volunteer and employee recruitment efforts.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Management, Business, or Retail (desired).
  • Proven success in retail and leadership management.
  • Experience in multi-site retail management.
  • Alignment with values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
  • Valid driver's license.
