Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a dedicated Operations Executive. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's operational functions, with a strong focus on asset management—including housing, facilities, and IT systems. The successful candidate will ensure that all assets are maintained to a high standard and that operational systems are effectively managed to support organizational efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Working closely with the External Accountant
  2. Overseeing internal financial management systems
  3. Managing and maintaining all organizational assets, including housing, vehicles, equipment, and facilities
  4. Ensuring timely and effective maintenance of all assets, including repairs, upgrades, and compliance checks
  5. Overseeing the management and functionality of operational systems, including IT infrastructure, software platforms, and digital tools and Quality Assurance systems
  6. Providing strategic advice to the Executive Team
  7. Collaborating with internal teams and external providers to ensure systems are secure, up-to-date, and fit for purpose
  8. Developing and implementing asset and systems management strategies for long-term sustainability
  9. Coordinating procurement, vendor relationships, and contract management related to assets and systems
  10. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all operational areas
  11. Supporting budgeting and forecasting for asset and system-related expenditures

This position requires willingness to provide, complete, and submit evidence prior to employment regarding:

  • Experience working in an Aboriginal Organisation
  • Qualifications in Business Administration, Property Management, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Knowledge of housing regulations, maintenance standards, and IT governance
  • Experience in Project Management or process improvement
