
Retail Account Manager

As a retail partner Account Manager, you are a true ambassador for Latitude and our Brand. Our Account Managers enhance and grow relationships within a set portfolio of key retailers, including retail giants such as Apple, JB HI FI, Harvey Norman, & The Good Guys, plus many more.
Your territory will cover retailers west of Melbourne, including weekly visitation to Geelong and Ballarat. The role focuses on relationship building, leveraging analytics, retailer insights, and your experience to identify opportunities to grow interest-free volume. You will have well-planned, robust conversations about why partners should offer customers the most affordable payment options and how we can collaborate to grow their business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and strengthening relationships with store managers and their teams, understanding their business impact, growth, and customer experience.
- Delivering structured training to promote retail finance, impact growth, and ensure compliance, including weekends and after-hours sessions to maximize coverage.
- Utilizing reporting to achieve business goals and targets, driving results through collaboration and problem-solving with retail sales teams.
- Understanding retailer operations, goals, and enhancing their sales performance.
- Providing on-call servicing during store hours, including weekends and after-hours.
- Ensuring retail partners present our products compliantly to meet regulatory standards.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Experience in relationship-building roles, managing multi-level relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to work autonomously with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Organized, proactive, and ready to engage in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical skills to identify growth opportunities and confidently discuss results with stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, building long-term relationships through honesty and pragmatism.
- Understanding or willingness to learn about sales finance products.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory risks related to responsible lending.
- Innovative mindset, seeking new business and product opportunities.
- Comfortable delivering training to small groups and fielding questions.
- Strong pre-planning and activity tracking skills to stay ahead of daily tasks.
