The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Queensland team, based in Brisbane. This is a hunter-style role focused on finding and winning new customers.

You will manage the full sales process—from identifying leads to closing deals—while working with our internal teams to support business growth across the QLD region.

What You'll Do

  • Find and win new customers in Queensland
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities for existing and new clients
  • Handle the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposals, and closing
  • Keep CRM up to date (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Report on your pipeline, forecasts, and sales activities
  • Provide limited support to existing accounts if needed

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years in B2B sales or business development
  • Proven success in new customer acquisition
  • Strong communication and closing skills
  • Experience in CRM tools and reporting
  • Background in automation, fluid control, valves, or instrumentation is a plus
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel in QLD
