About the Opportunity
We're offering a rewarding opportunity to join our passionate Youth Services team in Cardinia Shire. These temporary roles have become available due to parental leave, giving you the chance to step into a well-established and supportive environment.
You'll be part of a team that's committed to empowering young people, fostering inclusion, and delivering innovative programs that respond to the evolving needs of our community. If you're driven by purpose and ready to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
You will make an impact by
- Designing and delivering youth-led committees, programs, events and workshops.
- Supporting young people to set goals and access relevant services.
- Creating safe, engaging and inclusive spaces at our dedicated youth facility.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to strategic and operational planning and continuous service improvement.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in youth work or a related field,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a youth-centred approach.
- Proven ability to engage and support a diverse cohort young people.
- Knowledge of youth safety principles and intervention strategies.
- Experience in developing and evaluating group programs and events.
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check.
- First Aid certification (preferred).
