OverviewTo provide professional companionship and personal care to clients based on their individual needs and an established/documented care plan. Work directly with the client, their families and friends, reporting to their Nurse Next Door Care Designer ensuring continuity of care. Support every client in promoting Happier Ageing, and provide safe client care in accordance with the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and Nurse Next Door policies.

- Assist clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.
- Meet safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
- Provide premium care approach to clients and their family members
- Respond to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed timelines
- Review the care plan prior to visits, complete records accurately and complete all tasks as requested
- Engage in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate client care are identified
- Update availability and leave requests with HR to ensure continuity of care for your client
- Knowledge and understanding of basic infection control principles

We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet clients' needs.
- Cert III in Aged/Disability/Community Care
- Two positive professional references
- National Police Check (Aged care specific)
- Working with Children Check
- Ability to travel independently and reliably to client visits
- Excellent communication skills
- Completion of eLearning
- Disability Workers Exclusion Scheme Check (to be completed by Nurse Next Door)
- Driver Licence (Preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
- Working with Children Check (Required)
- National Police Certificate (Required)
- Australia (Required)

Pay: $32.73 – $58.91 per hour
