We are a growing wine production and trading company, proudly based in Adelaide and operating since 2018. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a driven and experienced Accountant to join our team.

This role offers more than just numbers — it's an opportunity to play a key part in shaping the financial health of a thriving business while mentoring junior team members and growing your own career in a supportive and engaging environment.

About the Role

As our in-house Accountant, you'll manage day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance, while also contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with management and be a trusted advisor in decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing financial reports, BAS, and tax returns

Managing accounts payable/receivable and payroll

Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Ensuring compliance with ATO and ASIC requirements

Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders

Mentoring junior staff and fostering financial best practices

Assisting with inventory and production cost tracking in collaboration with the winemaking and logistics teams

About You

3+ years of accounting experience

CA or CPA qualified (or very close to completion)

Strong technical skills and proficiency in accounting software (Xero preferred )

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proactive and detail-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset

A team player who enjoys mentoring and collaborating

Previous experience in the wine industry will be well regarded but not essential.
