We are now inviting applications for the role of Client Director with our team in Sydney. This is an opportunity to work with some of our largest clients across a diverse portfolio, supported by a talented, high-performing team.

The role:

As the Client Director, you will manage senior client relationships and oversee team performance. This role requires an expert understanding of the media industry and a comprehensive knowledge of our clients' industries and businesses.

Core responsibilities:

  1. Effectively manage direct reports, ensuring their progression through recruitment, performance reviews, development plans, feedback, and training.
  2. Lead external agencies (digital and creative) in delivering integrated projects.
  3. Ensure connectivity, consistency, and timely delivery of responses to briefs, including strategy, communications planning, investment, and optimization.
  4. Manage the business by delivering the service proposition to clients and overseeing end-to-end account management.
  5. Own and nurture client relationships according to the defined relationship strategy.
  6. Proactively identify client development opportunities, including cross-sell and upsell.
  7. Drive commercial success and profitability of the account through seamless service delivery.

A bit about you:

  1. Excellent client service skills with the ability to gain trust and confidence.
  2. People-focused with a nurturing and warm leadership style, capable of motivating teams.
  3. Proven ability to build trust quickly and support team development.
  4. Experience with TV, OOH, and digital planning tools.
  5. Primary focus on channel planning, including ecosystem analysis, channel selection, role definition, phasing, and budgeting.
  6. Confidence in managing large, fast-paced, high-volume accounts.
