What's the role?

Join Westpac's Business and Consumer Financial Markets team as an Associate Director in our Relationship FX team, supporting our Wholesale clients with tailored foreign exchange (FX) solutions.

In this role, you'll manage a significant portfolio of clients by providing exceptional service and execution support across phone, email, and digital channels. You'll help clients manage their FX risk, guide them through FX transactions, and educate them on the range of FX solutions available. You'll also be a key part of growing the business by identifying new opportunities and supporting the broader team.

This is a permanent fulltime role based in Melbourne.

What do I need?
  • Experience dealing FX products for wholesale clients, with strong market knowledge and advisory skills
  • Deep understanding of FX execution principles, risk management, and digital platforms
  • A proactive, client-first mindset and the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Strong communication and organisational skills to manage a high-value client book
  • A collaborative approach with a growth mindset and commercial acumen
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an AFMA accreditation (or equivalent)
