The Role and Responsibilities

As a Trainee Product Manager, you'll support product initiatives that drive business growth and enhance the customer experience. You'll work with experienced Product Managers and cross-functional teams to:

  • Monitor product category performance and uncover growth opportunities
  • Assist in researching and developing new product ideas
  • Support product planning, market analysis, and competitor research
  • Coordinate product samples, compliance, and testing activities
  • Help manage product databases, supplier communications, and internal reporting
  • Take ownership of a sub-category and drive real outcomes under mentorship
  • Build hands-on experience with tools like Pronto, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office

You are:

  • A strong communicator who enjoys working in a team
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Curious, analytical, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ready to grow your career in a supportive and fast-paced environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Product Design, or related field
  • Experience in retail, FMCG or manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
  • A passion for consumer products, product development, or innovation
