Overview

Project Manager role at City of Ryde (Careers at Council). Location: North Ryde, New South Wales.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects
  • Drive Council's projects and facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with the capital works program
  • Utilise extensive construction, project management, contract management and team leadership experience to deliver projects to agreed quality standards, timeframes and budgets
About You / Qualifications
  • Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related.
  • Extensive experience in planning, scheduling and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects with high community/political visibility (civil, buildings, public domain and landscape).
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards and codes of practice related to construction, safety and management of civil, buildings, public domain and landscape projects.
  • Highly developed written communication skills including tender/contract documentation, complex briefings and technical reports, and community consultation/notification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate project delivery outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary

Your commencing annual salary will range from $119,026.44 to $142,831.73 + Civil Liability Allowance (3.5%) + Superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications.
