The Role
Newly created opportunities are available for HR Business Partners to provide strategic HR advice and support to ODPP Managers and Executives. This is a hands-on and collaborative role working with the broader HR Team to maintain and share current knowledge of HR policy and best practice across the Office.
With extensive HR generalist experience and knowledge, you will play a critical role in supporting and coaching Managers in the effective implementation of workforce management policies and related strategies. Utilising your strength in communication and relationship building skills, you will partner with business stakeholders to provide advice in areas including the management of performance, workforce planning and some recruitment related activities.
About You
- Excellent oral and written communication with effective coaching, partnering, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strengths in project management and the implementation of HR initiatives.
- Sound knowledge of ER/IR and experience interpreting policies, awards and legislation.
- Enjoy building collaborative relationships, are a pragmatic thinker with sound judgement and the ability to make prompt decisions.
- A highly organised team player, whilst also being able to operate independently.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience and an understanding of Human Resource Management.

A talent pool will be created for future ongoing and temporary, full-time/part-time positions that may arise over the next 18 months.
