Role start: Graduate IT Support Officer at our state-of-the-art facility in Carol Park. You will provide first-line technical support to internal staff and assist with maintenance of IT systems, contributing to innovative operations and ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests through phone, email, remote tools, and occasional on-site visits.
- Support staff onboarding and offboarding by setting up accounts, devices, and access, and maintain accurate records of IT assets including workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Perform routine IT system checks to ensure security, compliance, and smooth operation across the organisation.
- Monitor IT consumables such as cables, accessories, and peripherals, and assist with procurement and inventory management.
- Maintain and update internal IT documentation, guides, and knowledge base to support consistent and efficient IT operations.
- Assist with updates and maintenance of workstations and mobile devices, with exposure to systems like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.
- Participate in IT-related projects such as hardware deployments, system upgrades, and new site rollouts, under supervision from senior IT staff.
- Receive mentorship and training in enterprise IT systems, including Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security, with opportunities to contribute to real-world projects beyond helpdesk duties.
- A Degree in Information Technology or relevant certifications in a similar field is desirable.
- Exposure to computing and information technology concepts, including hardware, software, and business systems, gained through academic studies, internships, or entry-level roles.
- Understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
