What You'll Do- Learn the products of the business and understand their applications
- Understand customer value and the impact on manufacturing and supply chain
- Understand manufacturing processes and the drivers of quality, cost, safety, reliability, speed, waste, and delay
- Contribute to fault finding and breakdowns
- Plan and conduct electrical work during down periods and factory shutdowns
- Apply structured problem solving to drive continuous improvement within the plant
- Apply problem solving, communication and other skills to deliver on relevant projects
- Deliver all technical tasks to comply with quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls to enable completion on time and within scope
- Contribute to the achievement of team and project goals
- Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with safety procedures
- Actively participate in improvement projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Basic knowledge of electrical design software and tools
- Demonstrate a safety-first attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Tech-savvy and curious, with high learning agility and flexibility of style
- A desire to grow and develop a long-standing career within the business
- Previous exposure to engineering such as vacation or internship experience advantageous but not essential
