Now, we're expanding into Queensland—and we're looking for a key individual to lead the charge.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sales and Operations Manager to spearhead our Queensland operations. As our first boots-on-the-ground team member in the state, you'll work closely with the Managing Director to drive business growth, build strong industry relationships, and oversee daily operations.
You'll attend meetings with prospective clients alongside the Managing Director and proactively reach out to companies across Queensland to organise meetings, build partnerships, and secure new work.
You will also be responsible for establishing and managing a strong network of subcontractor tipper truck operators in Queensland, onboarding them to ensure we have the capacity to meet cartage and disposal requirements.
This is a ground-up leadership role with the opportunity to shape and grow our Queensland division from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively contact Queensland-based companies to develop new business opportunities
Manage incoming job enquiries and client relationships across the Queensland region
Build and oversee a network of Queensland-based subcontractor tipper operators
Work directly with the Managing Director to develop and grow our Queensland footprint
Maintain high standards of safety, communication, and service delivery
Represent the Starbuck Group brand with professionalism and integrity at all times
What You'll Bring
Proven experience managing excavation, civil construction, or earthmoving operations
Strong understanding of tipper truck logistics and bulk haulage coordination
Demonstrated success in business development with a client-focused approach
Ability to work autonomously and lead from the front in a start-up environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
A long-term commitment to building and growing our Queensland division
