As we continue experiencing rapid national growth, we are seeking an accomplished Area Sales Manager to spearhead our business development efforts in Queensland. This pivotal role focuses on key industries including Water/Wastewater, Cement, Food, Process, Oil & Gas, and Mining.

Your Role

As the Area Sales Manager – Queensland, you will drive strategic sales initiatives, build lasting client relationships, and oversee the territory's financial success. Your contributions will shape the future trajectory of Aerzen's Queensland operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans and budgets for the Queensland territory

Identify and seize new sales opportunities to foster growth

Prepare and present compelling, competitive sales quotations and technical information.

Achieve and surpass financial and KPI's and sales targets for the territory

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments

Ensure compliance with OH&S and company compliance guidelines

Oversee Brisbane office/workshop operations and sales/aftersales activities

Foster meaningful and long-term client relationships

Lead and coordinate operational functions within the state

Regularly travel within Queensland and internationally for business development

Position Requirements

We are looking for a driven and experienced technical sales professional who thrives on building meaningful client connections. The ideal candidate will possess:

Comprehensive understanding of electro-mechanical systems with strong technical proficiency

Exceptional self-motivation and the ability to work independently

Proven success in industrial sales, particularly in relevant industries

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for building long-term client relationships

Outstanding commercial acumen, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Proven capability in teamwork, operational support, and fostering collaboration

Use of a CRM system, ideally Salesforce.

Willing to travel frequently across the territory and, when necessary, interstate and internationally

Additional Requirements:

Ensuring full compliance with Aerzen policies and the directives of the Australian Government

Successful completion of a pre-employment medical check
