Contract Administrator

Central Coast, Australia Rarekind Full time

Growth, progression, development. You've got the companies' backing.

This isn't just another Contracts Administration role. It's your stepping stone to Project Management.

Opportunities to work with Tier 1 and tier 2 clients within Construction, as well as a hands-on, supportive team environment.

Flexible working hours? Do you prefer that 7am start to enjoy those sunny afternoons by the beach? Or maybe you prefer that sleep in and 9am start. The choice is yours

About the role

A role that blends contracts administration with project coordination. But a clear pathway to move into a Project Manager if that's what you're looking for. As the Contracts Administrator, you'll bring a strong administrative and contracts knowledge, supporting project managers while ensuring smooth contract and project administration.

Administering head contracts and subcontracts will be at the forefront, including negotiation, terms, and compliance. You're all over it. Alongside this, managing project sum variations and payment claim processes too.

Keeping everything smooth sailing and afloat is key. Preparing, tracking, and submitting weekly variations, creating and managing supplier purchase agreements, and coordinating the material approvals and handing over to procurement are essential tasks.

Documentation, innovation, and creative mindsets might be you. Implementing new processes and creating efficiencies are encouraged. Existing documentation is key, whether that's your scope of works, BOMs, material approvals, and cost reporting.

To have the opportunities to get involved in projects and coordination, you'll work closely with project managers on client-facing follow-ups, reviewing project scopes, and working very closely with the design team to ensure there's alignment with contracts.

About you

You're likely earlier in your career, perhaps 3 years right now. You have plans to grow, develop, and succeed. Currently, you'll bring some experience in contracts administration or project coordination. Having the knowledge and experience to understand contracts is critical. Contract terms, payment claims, and supplier negotiations will not be new to you.

You may have had experience working within Construction or Manufacturing environments, so perhaps having the ability to review engineering drawings and scope of works, in collaboration with the design team, is something you're across.

Weekly reporting on project costs and financial performance is a big driver and part of your role. Number crunching, gathering data, and ensuring your systems maintenance is on point are crucial. Alongside this, updating internal systems and processes is probably something that you naturally do.

You're likely pretty tech-savvy, working with ERP systems, Excel, or even project management systems.

Your new organisation

With over 25 years of operation under their belt within the modular construction space, your new organisation is one of Australia's leading pioneers in the design and construction of bespoke bathroom pods.

Having delivered over 28,000 bathroom pods to clients across Australia in a diverse range of industries and sectors, they're all about smart manufacturing processes, at the forefront of innovation, and delivering precision-engineered solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain superior quality.

They uphold a commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge manufacturing, ensuring they remain a key player in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

You can enjoy a company profit-share scheme, Friday lunches, and flexible work hours in a freshly built site in Berkeley Vale.
