The Opportunity
Responsibilities include:

  • Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives
  • Coaching and support for families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, and assisting with administrative tasks
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support to deliver quality services
  • Focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

What you need to join
Qualifications are flexible; the following attributes are sought:

  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families
  • Experience in paediatrics and/or training/experience in supporting therapy needs is highly regarded
  • No formal qualification required, but experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience) is essential
  • Knowledge of the NDIS is desirable
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously in the community
  • Compliance – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid & CPR certificate
