Commercial Finance Analyst

About the Role

This is a high-impact role where you'll be at the heart of commercial strategy, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that fuel growth. You'll turn data into stories, helping us understand performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions across product, pricing, and promotional strategies.

What You Will Do
  • Ensure accurate and on time completion of financial close, budget, forecast and strategic planning processes to Essity timetables.
  • Oversee key control work such as reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial information in a timely manner.
  • Analyze pricing, promotions, and product performance to support strategic decisions
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes with data-driven recommendations
  • Contribute to business cases and scenario modelling for new initiatives
Who You Are

You bring 3–5 years of experience in commercial financial analysis, ideally within FMCG, retail, or e-commerce. You are:

  • A curious and analytical thinker with a knack for translating data into clear, compelling insights
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization tools
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and navigating ambiguity
  • A strong communicator who can influence decisions and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Degree-qualified in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
