Responsibilities
  • Preparation and maintenance of project governance and administration documentation
  • Track project progress and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders
  • Produce meeting minutes, agendas and monthly reports
  • Support design management and procurement activities
  • Support stakeholder consultation
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Turner & Townsend safety on projects checklist
  • Assist the Project Manager and Project Director with tasks such as cost reporting, program, service provider performance monitoring, risk register updates and quality assurance
  • Tender research, collating potential bid work
  • Assist with bids for future work in the region, including bid plans and liaison with the risk team
Qualifications
  • A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Construction Management or Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Cost Management or relatable trade experience
  • 1–4 years project management experience (ideally client side/consulting)
  • Experience with multi-site clients
  • Experience with CAPEX programmes and projects
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Existing relationship in Canberra market
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong report and writing skills
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
  • Ability to fit into a small team environment and bring a growth mindset
  • Willingness to spend time at various client offices and locations
  • Willingness to travel regionally
