ROLE SUMMARY
The primary function of the Audio-Visual Technician L1 (Contractor) is to provide AV technical support for all meeting rooms and AV equipment racks across our client's campus. Working with the client's on-site team and our off-site team to ensure resolution in a timely manner. All services should be delivered punctually at scheduled times. The Audio-Visual Technician L1 is expected to deliver a high level of customer service and provide proactive and reactive support efficiently. The Audio-Visual Technician L1 will perform incident management and escalate where appropriate. Our client is a major fortune 500 global company, making for a high quality work place with future opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities- Provide AV and VC set-up and technical support across all meeting rooms and VC equipped rooms
- Fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Escalate, raise, and update incidents to the regional lead.
- Support events involving AV systems.
- Provide reporting on room conditions and recommending upgrades and improvements.
- Carry out proactive health checks in accordance with SOP.
- Service continuity support including preparation for a restoration of service from Power Downs, Black Building Exercises and other planned or unplanned Business Continuity Management activities.
- Assist with software upgrades
- Assist with support for video/audio conferencing problems. Investigate faults and recommend further actions to rectify.
- Help ensure all multi-media / presentation rooms are maintained in good working order.
- Manual handling tasks will be required when necessary for moving equipment.
- Employment Status: Contractor (ATN Required)
- Contract Term: 1 Year with potential renewal or transfer to full time employment
- Wage: 75,000 – 100,000 AUD (dependent on prior experience)
- Working Hours: Monday through Friday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour lunch break)
- Location: Central Sydney
- Leave: All national Holiday and 10 days annual for Sick/Holiday leave
