The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Application Support professional to elevate their career and provide exceptional technical solutions across MEGT.

This customer-centric role is part of the Service Desk Team, responsible for ensuring Application Support resources and Technical Analysis skillset to support current and future BAU activities and projects in line with our organisational objectives.

You will report into the IT Support Manager and contribute to the continuous improvement of applications by testing and deploying changes, documenting processes and procedures while partnering and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in a team environment to contribute technical review and analysis to projects and play a key role in the assessment, implementation, and review of solutions.
  • Be a technical resource in implementing and integrating diverse business systems and applications both on premises and in the cloud.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable documentation related to systems and applications.
  • Implement and review system and application changes, upgrades, and maintenance according to IT change management processes, practices, and ISO 27001 guidelines.
  • Resolve and/or escalate application support and maintenance issues.
  • Facilitate onboarding of supported application platforms, ensuring staff have necessary resources and training.
  • Manage MEGT website tickets and changes, providing high-quality customer service.
  • Determine opportunities for continuous improvement and make necessary changes to procedures or training materials.
  • Own the SharePoint Online instance and provide ongoing quality support.
About You

You will be a savvy Application Support Analyst with at least 5 years of general application support experience in an enterprise environment, with skills in supporting:

  • Collaboration solutions like SharePoint Online
  • Productivity solutions like MS Power Apps, MS Forms, Nintex Forms
  • Finance systems like ERP and Payroll Solutions
  • Service Management and Ticketing Solutions
  • CRM solutions like Dynamics 365
  • Line of business applications
  • Database servers like MS SQL Server
  • BI and Reporting Tools like Power BI

You must have high-level digital literacy, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as Office 365 experience and qualifications.
