We seek individuals with a background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling (Bachelor in Psychology - Honours) interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Brisbane, QLD.

In this role, you will enjoy flexibility and autonomy, managing your own day with support from a close-knit team of healthcare professionals, backed by a global infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, supporting their return to health and work outcomes.

Your duties will include:

• Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to handle administrative tasks
• Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
• Working with employers and employees on injury prevention and workplace education
• Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
• Working across schemes such as workers compensation, third party, insurance, DVA, and employer-funded programs
• Conducting Vocational Assessments and injury prevention services such as mental health training, EAP services, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Adjustment to Injury Counselling

Ideal candidates will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
• Acceptance of applications with completed Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), supporting obtaining Associate ASORC membership and supervision for full ASORC membership
• General or Provisional AHPRA registration or full ASORC Membership
• Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and compassion
• Strong time management skills
• A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
