An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focusedMaintenance Officer to join our team at Pittwater Village.

Set among lush ferns and swaying palms in the heart of Mona Vale, Pittwater Village's idyllic location strikes the perfect balance between coastal tranquillity and contemporary convenience.

From friendly neighbours and elegant homes to quality amenities and peaceful surroundings, this welcoming retirement village exhibits a supportive community providing a vibrant, connected lifestyle in the beautiful Northern Beaches.

As a Maintenance Officer at Keyton you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by undertaking maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to our residents. We are seeking a proactive individual with strong communication skills, strong computer skills and a knack for problem-solving.

You will support our close-knit team on afull-time basis. No weekend work

  • Make Room for Kindness: Treat all residents with respect and kindness, addressing their maintenance concerns with empathy and understanding.

  • Lead with Heart: Perform all duties with integrity and honesty, ensuring transparency in all maintenance activities.

About You

The successful applicant will have demonstrated competence as a maintenance assistant or handyperson or experience in a similar role, as well as:

  • Be organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
  • Currently hold an Australian Drivers Licence
  • A current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Computer literate e.g. basic knowledge with using Excel, Word, Outlook, Apps
  • The ability to take initiative and be pro-active
  • The ability to work individually and in a team

Relevant internal training and inductions will be provided to the successful candidate on-site.
