**About LLEAF**

LLEAF is an agriculture technology startup that develops and produces fluorescent plastic films for the protected cropping industry. Our products are used globally to increase the yield of greenhouse crops such as lettuce, tomatoes, eggplants, capsicums, and berries.

We have an indoor greenhouse-simulation research facility at our office in Mona Vale, and are currently constructing an outdoor greenhouse research facility nearby. At these facilities we trial our novel films on a variety of crops under varied conditions.

**About the role**

This position will primarily involve the maintenance of crop trials in our research facilities. This may include germinating seeds, managing seedlings and plants through growth stages, managing pest and disease issues, harvesting crops, collecting data, maintaining infrastructure, and cleaning facilities.

Problem solving and collaboration with our scientific team will be required on a daily basis to manage biosecurity, nutrition, environmental conditions, and any other issues that arise.

Assistance may also be required in other business areas. The role will include work across our office and both research facilities, starting at two days a week with the possibility of further hours.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
