Creative Design Director

Harry the hirer is a CREATIVE LEAD business and the annual collection of furniture we release is a fundamental part of our creative offering. We are looking for someone to take a lead role in this department, delivering outstanding product which will help define some of Australia's most memorable events. Arguably the best job in the company
Responsibilities- Lead the product direction and development (across furniture, hospitality and more) working closely with procurement incorporating both client and internal feedback.
- Develop the annual collection release, ensuring it is cohesive, relevant and on trend for the Australian events industry.
- Work towards an annual launch programme including presentations and required collateral.
- Work closely with the digital and marketing team on all digital product and marketing assets.
- Design and deliver a stunning 2 floor showroom with an eye for event and activation environmental design (at the highest level).
- Attend events and high-end jobs to ensure you are at the leading edge of industry.
- Develop and maintain key internal and client relationships.
- Proven people management, leadership and energy.
- Strong skills in presenting and storytelling.
- Experience in experiential design/interior design/theatre Design. Events industry background would help.
- Capability to develop a vision for event style furniture, high end to low end.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe, Rhino or similar so designs and concepts can be clearly presented.
- Loves networking and growing relationships.
- You are a passionate person who loves the world of design and lives their job.
