About the Centre:
We are seeking a part time Medical Receptionist to join our established and multicultural practice at Eastbrooke Medical Centre in Carlton.Our Clinic at Carlton, located across the road from Carlton train station, is well established, not only with our patients but with our passionate and large support staffing team. We provide a collaborative work environment with full training and support from other nurses and our practice manager.
This opportunity would best suit a suit apassionate, diligent and vibrant individual who holds a strong focus on customer service and patient care, loves to work in a team environment, is adaptable and is looking for variety in their role.You can find more about our centre here.

The Opportunity:

We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at ourEastbrooke Medical Centre in Carltonavailable for Medical Receptionists seeking permanent part-time work:

  • Work across both our general practice and Medicare Urgent Care clinic
  • Friendly, fun and dedicated team
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
  • Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
  • Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
  • processing payments via EFTPOS, HICAPs and Medicare
  • Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
  • High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

You'll be:
Our Receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences. To be successful in the role, you'll need:

  • Available to workMonday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. With availability to cover additional shifts across weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Previous Medical Reception experience will be highly regarded for this role
  • Knowledge of Best Practice software, although training will be provided
  • You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about customer service and patient care
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
