Back off a solid performance in FY25 and because of an internal promotion, we have an outstanding opportunity to succeed within our medium business Account Management team, covering customers in the Sunshine Coast and Far North Queensland.

This position involves partnering with businesses and selling parcel delivery services, managing around 40-50 medium-sized revenue customers.

You will help your customers in the Sunshine Coast & FNQ thrive as their businesses grow. Working mainly on the road visiting customers (including quarterly regional visits to Townsville & Cairns), you will be a trusted advisor as they use Australia Post for their growth.

The role includes B2B, B2C, and international freight solutions, utilizing the entire sales and account management infrastructure of Australia Post.

You will manage a portfolio of roughly 50 customers, solving various issues and fulfilling their requirements.

This role suits a customer-focused, keen individual with account management experience, interested in understanding clients deeply and helping them achieve their business goals.

You will work with business leaders across Australia, growing revenue and developing new business in a portfolio currently exceeding targets.

What you'll deliver with us

Through excellent account management and new business development, you will help Australia Post meet its growth targets.

You'll

  • Visit customers, understand their business, and develop solutions.
  • Solve customer problems and help them access our network.
  • Manage existing accounts to increase share of wallet and opportunities.
  • Conduct joint business reviews with c-suite leaders.
  • Analyze accounts for risks and growth opportunities.
  • Build long-term trusted relationships.
  • Develop new business, exceeding targets.

About You

You should have sales or customer-centric experience, credibility with face-to-face customers, a curious mind, and the ability to build lasting relationships. A positive growth mindset and a customer-obsessed attitude are essential.

Experience in freight or delivery services at Australia Post or similar is beneficial. Understanding industry operations and delivering seamless customer experiences will contribute to your success.
