Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities
Here are some key accountabilities for the Payments Specialist role:
- Optimize all aspects of payment processes surrounding client deposits and client withdrawals flow processes, and act as an intermediary between treasury, technology, client experience departments, and 3rd party Payment relationships.
- Create a positive relationship in all client interactions, maintaining a professional and friendly manner and ensuring customer satisfaction as a priority.
- Provide tailored responses for Payment related queries and handle the client expectations.
- Actively participate in business improvement programs involving changes to processes and functions: PSP Intros, Seminars, Webinars, etc.
- Ensure compliance with privacy requirements and legislative obligations ensuring confidentiality, privacy and integrity of information is not compromised.
- Report on relevant trends and insights as they relate to Payments Integrations, trending PSPs and Processing success for Blueberry Markets to internal stakeholders.
- Meet and exceed KPIs set on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis: Client Satisfaction (with the End-to-End Flow), Withdrawal Processing Times, Deposit Processing Times, and reconciliation.
- The position is required to carry out any additional duties or projects to the department/team.
- Develop and implement strategies around fraud prevention, transaction monitoring in adherence with payment regulations.

Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field, or a related discipline (preferred)
Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or AML operations, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong command of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English, Chinese and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in written and verbal Mandarin is advantageous.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Sharp problem-solving capabilities and a keen attention to detail, with a consistent focus on quality even in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.
- Sound judgment and integrity in decision-making, particularly when handling sensitive or high-risk matters.
- Comfortable navigating bespoke or newly integrated systems, with strong logical thinking and adaptability.
- A continuous learner who actively seeks opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement.
