Finance & Payroll Officer
Location: Brisbane | Salary: Up to $80k + Super

Are you looking for a role where you can combine your finance skills with your payroll expertise? This newly created opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in supporting both the finance and HR functions of a growing, fast-paced business.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance & Payroll Officer to join the team on a full-time basis. This position offers the chance to work across payroll, accounts, and HRIS administration, while being part of a collaborative and dynamic culture.

About the Role
  • End-to-end payroll processing and compliance with AU legislation
  • Managing HR administration through HRIS workflows
  • Processing AP entries, supplier payments, credit cards and journals
  • Supporting finance with reconciliations, accruals and month-end close activities
  • Assisting with reporting, system improvements and process optimisation
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a Payroll and/or Finance Officer role
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation and awards
  • Working knowledge of ERP/finance systems (Netsuite experience highly regarded)
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes
