Overview

Role: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Brisbane CBD, Australia (Brisbane-based candidates only)

Engagement: Initial 12 months with possible extensions. Government sector project. Hourly rate up to AUD 117 ph.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in DevOps practices and Microsoft technologies. You will design and implement build and release pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and blue/green deployment strategies using the .NET stack and Azure DevOps.

You will collaborate across the software development lifecycle with multidisciplinary teams, contributing from design and coding through deployment and support.

Key Skills Required
  • Demonstrated experience in .NET development
  • ASP.NET / MVC, Visual Studio, .NET Framework 3.5–4.8.x and .NET Core
  • Strong background in SQL Server 2012–2022 (including SQL Azure), performance tuning & optimization
  • Azure Services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline orchestration
  • Proven DevOps leadership in build, test, and release automation
  • API and Web Services development
  • Testing frameworks, automated builds, and release management
  • Ability to collaborate in Agile environments and across diverse teams
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain build and release pipelines
  • Develop automated tests and foster robust deployment strategies
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
