Overview

Role: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Brisbane CBD, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Engagement: Initial 12 months with possible extensions

Hourly rate: up to $117 ph

Note: Only open to Brisbane based candidates. Government sector.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in DevOps practices and Microsoft technologies. You will play a key role in designing and implementing build and release pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and blue/green deployment strategies using the Microsoft .NET stack and Azure DevOps. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and coding through to deployment and support.

Key Skills Required

  • Demonstrated experience in .NET development
  • ASP.NET / MVC, Visual Studio, .NET Framework 3.5–4.8.x and .NET Core
  • Strong background in SQL Server 2012–2022 (including SQL Azure), performance tuning & optimisation
  • Azure Services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline orchestration
  • Proven DevOps leadership in build, test, and release automation
  • API and Web Services development
  • Testing frameworks, automated builds, and release management
  • Ability to collaborate in Agile environments and across diverse teams
