We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our client's team in Melbourne. As the 2IC to the Head of Technology, you will lead and oversee service delivery across solution architecture, enterprise architecture, data management, cloud integration, and technology evaluation.

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful execution of technical projects and enhancement services across the division.

Responsibilities
  • Takes full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, both in project and operational domains, ensuring they are executed efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and delivered within scope, budget, and timeline constraints
  • Oversee Solution & Enterprise Architecture, including Security and Pre-Sales Solutioning.
  • Lead Azure Integration Architecture and Hybrid Cloud Environment support.
  • Drive Data & Analytics Solutioning, Governance, and Cloud Management strategies.
  • Evaluate new technologies, SaaS, and Managed Services for market competitiveness.
  • Manage product licensing and serve as an SME for SaaS & Managed Services.
  • Lead business, integration, and new technology projects, including client mobilization initiatives.
  • Leads cross-functional teams, including developers, IT infrastructure specialists, and business analysts, to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitates project meetings, working groups, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Oversee enterprise architecture initiatives and contribute to technology planning and strategy.
  • Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks, addressing technical and business challenges to ensure seamless project execution and maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
Skills & Expertise
  • Proven experience in Service Delivery Management, with expertise in Solution Architecture ( Including Pre-Sales Solutioning) and Enterprise Architecture( Including Security)
  • Strong background in Azure Integration Architecture and Hybrid Cloud Environment Architecture and Support
  • Strong expertise in project or portfolio management, with a track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management, SaaS licensing, and Managed Services oversight.
  • Experience with Data & Analytics Solutioning & Governance and the ability to manage contractual requirements effectively.
  • Track record of managing business, integration, and technology projects and client mobilisations.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience in team performance optimisation and outsourced resource management.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to present solutions effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
  • Knowledge of IT project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
