The Role

This position involves performing various operational functions in the production of food, packaged, and other food products, in accordance with our quality, safety, and production standards. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding and adhering to work orders or procedural instructions for each task
  • Operating food processing equipment
  • Occasionally handling meat products such as chicken, beef, or pork
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Meeting production targets within scheduled timeframes
  • Contributing to quality and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting the implementation of a site-wide Food Safety Culture Plan
  • Adhering to WHS policies and procedures
  • Performing other ad hoc duties as required
About You

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a food FMCG environment, is preferred but not essential. You should also possess:

  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A reasonable mechanical aptitude
  • Flexibility to handle various job assignments
  • Good manual handling practices
  • FMCG manufacturing experience, preferably in food production
