The Role:

Due to increasing work commitments, Pro Pipe Services is currently seeking a Field Technician to join our team for upcoming projects and shutdowns with major clients.

This role is for an immediate start, servicing our clients both in the workshop and in the field, providing and delivering top-quality service each time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Assisting with after-hours callout rosters and incident management
  • Ensuring preservation of the pipeline
  • Maintaining 100% compliance with OH&S and workplace policies and procedures
  • Maintaining professional relationships with field, office-based colleagues, and contractors
  • Assisting in the functional testing and preparation of equipment for projects
  • Keeping accurate documentation and records
  • Maintaining housekeeping in maintenance and servicing work areas to a high standard

About You:

To be considered, you should ideally possess the following skills, experience, tickets, and attributes. We are willing to train the right person:

  • Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in the gas industry (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience working on or around underground assets (preferred but not essential)
  • High-pressure gas experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter capable of working unsupervised or within a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts (day/night/weekends)
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home
  • Strong commitment to work health and safety
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Current valid Australian driver's license
  • Ability to drive manual vehicles (desirable)
  • Forklift license (desirable)
  • High Risk Work License (desirable)
  • Working at Heights ticket (desirable)
  • Confined Space ticket (desirable)
  • Gas Test Atmosphere (desirable)
  • Breathing Apparatus (desirable)
  • White Construction Card

As part of our recruitment process, a pre-employment medical examination is required.
