Field Technician - Ravenhall and Dandenong

We are a specialist materials testing company, providing laboratory and field-testing services to the civil and environmental engineering industry. Chadwick Geotechnics (Australia) and Geotechnics (New Zealand) are part of the Tonkin + Taylor Group, a specialist, employee-owned environmental and engineering consultancy.

The Role:

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, we are looking for experienced field technicians in Victoria (Ravenhall and Dandenong). Your main responsibilities will involve undertaking field and laboratory testing for earthworks and geotechnical projects in accordance with Australian Standards.

Duties will include:

- Field density, sampling and testing activities
- Laboratory analysis

About You:

You will require excellent communication skills, the flexibility to adapt quickly to change and your people skills will be second to none You will have the passion to deliver work to high standards as well as:

- High attention to detail and quality
- Practical implementation experience and skills
- Willingness to use new equipment and processes
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar role preferred

Candidates must have a Construction Induction Card (White Card), a valid manual driver's license, and preferably a Portable Density Moisture Gauge license. Interstate travel and project medicals may be necessary.
