The SSA group is seeking a surveyor to join our client's team in Brisbane, primarily working on land development projects. This role is ideal for a surveyor seeking a long-term employer who will support their QLD registration progress.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Carry out cadastral surveys under supervision, including detail and engineering surveys as directed.
  • Lead field teams in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.
  • Create and maintain accurate survey records.
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained per industry standards.
  • Manage field assistants to ensure they are productively engaged.
  • Respect private and public property when working in the field.
Special Skills
  • Proficiency with GPS and total station equipment.
  • Ability to process field data for survey plan drafting.
  • Maintain records in accordance with the Surveyors Act and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree.
  • Registration as a surveyor, Graduate Surveyor, or Surveyor under the Surveyors Act 2003.
  • Current Queensland Class 'C' Driver's License.
