Overview

Senior Project Coordinator — Picton, New South Wales. Permanent full-time role with salary from $126,159 plus 12% superannuation and leaseback; 35-hour week with flex-time and hybrid working arrangements.



About the Opportunity

As the Senior Project Coordinator within Project Delivery, you will manage the delivery of one or more road, building and open space projects while working collaboratively with all stakeholders. You will identify and respond quickly to customer needs, facilitate the delivery of projects from implementation to closeout, and provide a wide range of project management services, including the management of design consultants and construction contractors, ensuring that time, cost, quality, safety and environmental targets are met.



Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of one or more road, building and open space projects from implementation to closeout with stakeholders.
  • Identify and respond quickly to customer needs; demonstrate flexibility and leadership.
  • Provide project management services including management of design consultants and construction contractors to meet time, cost, quality, safety and environmental targets.


Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, building or construction or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in project management, project delivery and contract management for civil and/or building projects and the management of consultants and contractors on projects at the $5 - $10 million range.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to identify and document a project program and milestones.
  • Ability to develop project plans and consult.
  • Experienced with design development and field delivery and able to identify issues, resolve quickly and escalate as required.
  • Ability to forecast cash flow requirements of a project and identify budget shortfall and remedy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to project stakeholders.
