The Ramelius Exploration team encompasses near mine, brownfields and regional exploration programmes across multiple mineralisation styles and lithology. Exploration programmes range from early stages soil sampling to advanced resource definition programmes surrounding the Mount Magnet operation in the Midwest and the Rebecca-Roe tenements located approximately 150km east of Kalgoorlie.
The Role
Role
Working in a small team you will be involved with a wide range of exploration programmes to discover and develop resources, as well as support project development activities. You can expect your role to include:
- Field work programmes including geological field mapping, geochemical surface sampling and drill hole logging (aircore, RC, diamond)
- Accurate and timely data collection, interpretation and reporting
- Provide direction to Field technicians and exploration contractors
- Engage effectively with a wide range of external stakeholders
- Oversee compliance with relevant obligations (tenure, heritage, health and safety) of staff and contractors.
- Regular participation in daily and other safety meetings
- Proactively identify and report potential hazards and model safety leadership
You Are a Creative Problem Solver With a Passion For Gold Exploration. You Are Adaptable, Thrive In a Small Team Environment And Work Well With a Wide Range Of People. You Bring
- Tertiary level degree in Geology, Geological Science
- Demonstrated experience in a mineral exploration role, preferably gold
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Micromine, ArcGIS and Acquire database would be preferred
- A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
