Grow Futures Together at C&K Middlemount Community Childcare Centre.

The position starts 13 October 2025. Fixed Term Full-Time Teacher (fixed-term until Dec 2026) — Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day — and play a vital role in creating a nurturing, play-based learning experience for our little ones.

Responsibilities
  • Co-create a supportive, play-based learning space where each child, aged 6 weeks to 5 years, is seen, heard, and respected.
  • Partner closely with families and our local community, nurturing deep relationships that matter.
  • Work alongside our dedicated Director, in an environment that values professional growth, reflective practice, and evidence-informed teaching.
What You'll Do
  • Design and deliver engaging programs grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework, fostering children's leadership in their learning journey.
  • Observe and respond to each child's strengths, supporting self-regulation, empathy, social skills, and autonomy.
  • Build positive, inclusive environments where children feel secure, valued and empowered to "slow down" and explore.
  • Engage in ongoing reflection and collaboration, sharing insights and strategies within your team and across the wider C&K network.

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • An ACECQA approved bachelor's degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • Current Police Check
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
