Early Childhood Educator Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, play-based learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Your primary responsibility will be to co-create a supportive learning space where each child is seen, heard, and respected. You will work closely with families and the local community, fostering deep relationships that matter.

You will also design and deliver engaging programs grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework, promoting children's leadership in their learning journey. Your role will involve observing and responding to each child's strengths, supporting self-regulation, empathy, social skills, and autonomy.

As a key member of our team, you will engage in ongoing reflection and collaboration, sharing insights and strategies within your team and across the wider network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-create a supportive learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years
  • Design and deliver engaging programs grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Observe and respond to each child's strengths, supporting self-regulation, empathy, social skills, and autonomy
  • Foster deep relationships with families and the local community
Requirements:
  • An ACECQA approved bachelor's degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A current Police Check
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework, and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide
