The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program.
The role is based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
As a Product Configuration Management Specialist, you will apply your knowledge and experience to provide the following services for the Apache fleet:
- Manage and maintain the program's product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
- Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure that engineering change is managed in a controlled manner.
- Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools.
- Maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements
- Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management.
- Formal Configuration Management training / certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Configuration Status Accounting Tool.
