An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Sous Chef at Strathfield Golf Club & The Fresh Collective.
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work with a successful, professional, and highly regarded hospitality group, the hospitality leader in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne iconic arts venues, including the Art Gallery NSW, Australian Museum, Queensland Museum, Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company and Museums Victoria.
- Annual Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 plus super

The Role
- Utilise your creativity in preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance
- Work closely with the Head Chef to further your cooking skills and techniques
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage food and staff costs
- Motivate and manage the kitchen brigade, ensuring speed of service for restaurant and function service
- Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
- Follow all food safety procedures and legislation
About You
- A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, from busy restaurant and/or cafe
- Diploma Certified in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety
- Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
- In possession of a valid Australian working visa - able to work in a permanent full-time capacity
