About the firm

Our client is a leading international law firm recognised for advising on some of Australia's most complex and high-profile corporate transactions. The firm combines global reach with a strong local presence, offering a collaborative culture and commitment to professional development, diversity, and social impact initiatives.

The role

Based in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to work on headline-making corporate transactions, including:

  • Takeovers, business and asset acquisitions and disposals
  • Restructurings and recapitalisations
  • Equity capital markets work

You will work alongside highly rated partners and a strong team, gaining exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional deals and advising leading corporates, investors, and financial institutions.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 2+ years PQE in M&A or corporate transactions (preferably at a leading firm)
  • Excellent technical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to provide strategic advice
  • Strong team orientation and a willingness to mentor junior colleagues
  • Commitment to building long-term client relationships
