This position delivers high standard community nursing services consistent with Primary Health Care and interdisciplinary practice. Promotes and maintains collaborative relationships with clients, carers, peers and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Accepts responsibility for own actions and is accountable for own practice.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Eligible for registration in the category of Registered nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in clinical nursing practice and knowledge of Primary health Care PrincipleS
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and computer based communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to working in a Primary Health Care team structure
- Ability to travel with overnight stays as required
- Current C Class Drivers Licence

About The Area
The Pilbara is WA's second most northern region, defined by the Indian Ocean to the west and the Northern Territory border to the east. The Kimberley Region lies to its north across the Great Sandy Desert and the Pilbara's southern reaches border the Midwest and Goldfields regions. The region covers a total area of 507,896sq km (including offshore islands). Most of the inhabitants are in the western third, whereas the eastern third is largely desert with few inhabitants. Today the Pilbara economy is crucial to the State, providing 2 of the State's largest export revenue earners – iron ore and liquefied natural gas.

Subsequent Vacancies
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision
