Overview

Clinical Nurse role at WA Country Health Service. This is a Permanent or Fixed Term appointment at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile

This position delivers high standard community nursing services consistent with Primary Health Care and interdisciplinary practice. Promotes and maintains collaborative relationships with clients, carers, peers and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Accepts responsibility for own actions and is accountable for own practice.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Eligible for registration in the category of Registered nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated advanced skills in clinical nursing practice and knowledge of Primary Health Care Principles
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and computer-based communication skills
• Demonstrated ability and commitment to working in a Primary Health Care team structure
• Ability to travel with overnight stays as required
• Current C Class Drivers Licence

About The Area

The Pilbara is WA's second most northern region, defined by the Indian Ocean to the west and the Northern Territory border to the east. While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service.
