Overview

MKD Transcorp is a family-founded transport and logistics company, established in 1999, specialising in contract logistics, general freight, container transport, container storage, and refrigerated transport solutions. With a reputation built on reliability, compliance, and customer service, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our company into its next chapter.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage staff at all levels, fostering a strong team culture.
  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transport, logistics, and safety legislation.
  • Manage financial performance, budgets, and risk controls.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive innovation through technology, automation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Represent MKD Transcorp at industry events and build the company's profile within the logistics sector.
Key Requirements
  • Proven senior leadership experience of at least 10 years in transport, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Formal qualifications in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline (MBA highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian transport regulations, compliance standards, and safety frameworks.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, sustainability, and customer service.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Track record of business growth and successful change management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Remuneration

MKD Transcorp offers an attractive executive remuneration package, reflecting the seniority and responsibilities of the CEO role. The package includes a base salary of

$400,000 and above, supplemented by performance-driven incentives linked to the achievement of strategic and operational goals. This structure rewards both leadership excellence and measurable business outcomes, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term growth and success.
