About the Role

The Chef plays a significant role in enhancing residents' quality of life by providing delicious and nutritious meals. The Chef will supervise the Catering team when on duty and ensure meals align with menus and dietary requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Meal preparation according to menus designed by the Head Chef; ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and meet residents' dietary needs
  • Accommodate special dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets
  • Food safety and hygiene to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
  • Quality control of ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring taste, appearance, and portions meet standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
Skills & Experience
  • Certificate III or IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn
  • Collaborative and strong teamwork
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities
