Exciting 6-month contract where you will grow your customer service and operational skills in a hands-on, supportive, and team-focused environment. This customer-facing role will enable you to further develop invaluable skills in the day-to-day running of our Mackay yard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing timely, competent, and professional customer service
  2. Completing payments in accordance with customer trading terms
  3. Accurate record keeping in line with company requirements
  4. Maintaining an organized office, including organization of files and records
  5. Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager
  6. Demonstrating a high focus on safety and commitment to EHS policies and procedures

Essential Criteria:

  • High level of customer service
  • Previous experience handling accounts and invoicing
  • Demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
  • Reliable and efficient team player
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills

Desirable criteria:

  • Cash management experience
  • Experience in Weighbridge roles or similar positions
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP programs
