Travel: The candidate should expect to make in-field visits in Sydney CBD and surrounding areas during office hours as needed (9AM-5PM), with occasional in-field visits after hours.

Description

What You'll Need:

  • 2+ years previous sales experience: Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to mature lifecycle and revenue generation, inclusive of objection handling related to product use and commercial & legal terms.
  • Executional excellence: Ability to deliver observable results and continuous improvements despite challenges and setbacks.
  • Communication: Using communication skills and empathy to clearly, persuasively, and confidently deliver information to a variety of partners.
  • Negotiation/Sales & Business Acumen: Taking time to build relationships that add long term value to the joint business success of Uber & partners.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner of new tools and processes, with the ability to work autonomously in a self-starting environment.

Additional information:

  • Good to have if candidates have B2B experience and/or phone based/outbound experience. Previous quota carrying is also good, e.g. have had previous sales quotes and can meet them.
  • Strong preference for candidates who know another language e.g. Mandarin, Thai, Indian.

Other Considerations:

  • Location - Sydney, with some in-field work (e.g. visiting restaurants as needed).
  • Full time - 9am to 5pm, with occasional after-hours engagement to support in-field activities.
